This machine changes lives for the better!

We've crashed two less expensive earlier espresso machines so we have some experience to speak of. Bought as soon as we got back from a trip to Italy and the latte tastes exactly the same in my own kitchen! We've had it for a little over a month now and we couldn't be happier! There were guests from out of town for Thanksgiving and flavored syrups, and everyone loved the delicious specialty coffees. The milk frother tipped the scales for me - it's worth every penny more! (It was a big decision…

Life Quality Power Multiplier

I have had Gaggia Anima Prestige for over 2 months and we use it every day, usually we make about 4 or 5 drinks every day. Basically I am very satisfied with this machine. Espresso, cappuccino and latte are extremely consistent, day after day, week after week. This thing really multiplies the quality of life and probably saved our marriage. I bought it mainly based on what I read here on Revain and watched various videos online. I only had one error light which I attribute to the brewing unit…

What happens if it breaks?

It was a good machine, its characteristics are described in other reviews. The main focus of my review is what happens when something goes wrong, which I think is very relevant when buying a product. Mine started leaking badly after 8 months. Revain only covers it for 30 days and states a one-year manufacturer's warranty. They offered me a $5 credit for my inconvenience, which I declined. I don't always read the fine print, so here's what you should know and what I wish I knew before I buy this

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No instructions

After 1 year (2500 cups of espresso)

History: We have had several Jura Capressos in the last 6 years. High price and high maintenance, they stopped working when they needed cleaning and then returned to a factory approved store ($300) every time, postage and packaging not included no matter the problem. This cycle took place approximately every 12-24 months, depending on usage. Gaggia Anima Prestige fully automatic coffee machine - after 6 months in use: We wanted to buy a Jura first. The models we receive cost $2,500 more. The…

Back to the old routine.

Just got this car this week. About 7 years ago I had several cars ranging from some of the smaller models to the Saeco Incanto Sirius. The Saeco works almost perfectly and has been used quite a bit over the years (at least 5-6 tractors a day). Recently, my wife decided to go decaf, so we looked for a decent decaf espresso. I found a few but honestly nothing could compare to my favorite bean (Lavazza Super Crema). I tried using the bypass dispenser for regular coffee but honestly got a little…
