I've been an upholsterer for over 44 years and these hog rings are no useless for holding stuff while you work. They bend like you do with aluminum wire.

I use these to secure wire mesh to the underside of livestock panels in my yard. While the panels keep large animals out, I need to add fine mesh at the bottom to keep out rabbits etc. They are the thickest I have found but perfect for this use.

I used to have copper colored tools from another supplier but they rusted. They turn dark grey, but do not rust. I've used them on a bungee cord and they've been out in a couple of showers with no issues. They are still strong and have not rusted.

I don't want to be picky, but when the title says it's a 'set; "500 pig rings included," which sounds like something else; and 3 of 5 photos show a pair of pliers which I expected to be part of the kit. What some may not know is that the word "kit" often means something you need in order to use the parts included in the kit...for example, a bushing kit, which includes several bushings and an installation tool. I've been using hog rings on our farm for years and thought I'd save some money by buying these instead. Brand at our local food farm. Unfortunately, they are not made of durable steel and can bend and loosen after use. Unfortunately I can't recommend it!

Same as factory seats. This is the 3/4 inch size I bought and they are exactly the same as the OEM sizes I see. I've been upholstering cars for years and was the only one in the workshop who took care of every seat problem. I needed to replace a seat belt in a Chevy and needed pig rings. I took a chance after research and did my best to make sure they were exactly what I needed and the right size. In the future, when the time comes, I will buy more, but at the moment a place in the family truck

These sizes were perfect for reinforcing the walls of my dog Max's collapsible cage. Made on walls with longer life than zip ties Plastic. If you attach the rings from the inside of the cage the secondary pointed ends will be on the outside of your dog. The rings hold securely. Came out from soil erosion/ditching. Bought a wrought iron lawn edging and attached it with these rings. Works, until a more permanent solution is purchased.
