Is working. Easy to program.

They were pretty darn easy to program (clone) from my work console. The directions are easy to understand. Took me 3 minutes to make two and they work well. I like the positive feeling of pressing a button. I can't say anything about the second button because I only use it for one door.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Bad instructions

Easiest Installation

Who knew garage door openers were as easy as 1-2-3! The new garage door opener is in my hand and the old one I used was Marantec on the table. Installation was so quick I was shocked at how easy it was! We needed two extras when my mom moved and my brother started driving so it was an easy fix for our family instead of them saying 'open garage' when they got here. Definitely recommend!

  • Confident

Works with Viper X50 Garage Door Opener

This is not advertised for my garage door opener but looking up the Viper X50 remote part number will bring up this page. The programming guide was exactly the same as the Viper documentation, so I took a chance on ordering it. Both devices I ordered worked perfectly as I had 1 working remote control to program them. So if you have a Viper garage door opener, this should be the one for you.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Some minor things

No pairing instructions without a working remote control!

I don't have a working remote control. For this reason I bought a replacement. The instructions that came with it describe how to use a jumper to program a new remote with an old remote and direct us to their website to program it "without an existing working remote". (see picture) However, there are no videos or instructions on the website for this task! It will be returned immediately!

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...

Works as it should for Marantec garage door opener

I bought a branded universal remote and couldn't sync it with my Marantec garage door opener. I gave up and bought this cheap device. Specially developed for Marantec shares. If you already have a similar Marantec opener then this is the easiest thing in the world to program. It seemed so easy that I was afraid to spoil it. After reading the instructions, I programmed it in literally 2 minutes. Good buy. . If you have Marantec this is what you need. Buy it.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not bad

No more than one at a time

If you want to program more than one remote control for the same door, this option will not work. I had a remote called Marantec and then this one (didn't notice the difference when I ordered this) when I plugged in one remote the other disconnected. So I went back to my order history and re-ordered the one with the Marantec logo and was able to program it without invalidating the old one. However, if all you need is a remote then this is good value for money.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Empty

Was working on a discontinued bottle opener.

It took me a minute to understand the pairing process. Unfortunately I worked with an old original remote control. You need the old remote control to copy the codes to the new remote control. Because it was an older opener model, there were no DIP switches to find the remote codes. If your original remote fails, I would suggest purchasing a replacement before the original remotes die forever. These replacement remotes seem to be working so far. The price was also great compared to others…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

Perfect fit for Marantec 4700

EXACTLY what I needed to replace my Marantec M-line 4700 remote control! The old one stopped working and after three trips to Lowe's/Home Depot I found that the Geist etc. were not compatible with universal remotes (which is actually a good thing for added security). There were no direct instructions in the kit, but there was a link to an installation video on YouTube. I've never programmed a garage remote before and it took me about two minutes - you connect the pins to your old remote, point…

Worked great with my old remote and keyboard

My old remote works pretty well but the previous owners didn't leave me the keyboard code. I was wanting to get a small jumper for keyboard programming from my old remote but decided on one so I also have a spare remote. My existing remote is an old style with a large oval button and a smaller button underneath. It took me a little time to connect the pins to the jumpers but once I followed the instructions they worked great. Similar keyboard programming experience. The keyboard had no tactile…
