This was a fairly easy install, I usually connected the unit to the fuse panel or battery but the ability to run a cable from the camera to the A-pillar is what's nifty ODB connector makes installation very easy to get constant power supply for your dash cam. I tested it for 2 days. With this device, the car battery (Honda 2021) is severely discharged (see photo) and the camera overheats. In addition, there is no connection to the camera remotely via Wi-Fi (it seems that the Wi-Fi has been switched off due to the camera overheating). Live broadcast does not work even from a short distance (there is a car under the window). I have wireless security cameras outside my home and they work with my home WiFi, but that's not good enough for the Garmin Dash
