I bought this because it's the only option but it's too big and bulky for my use on a motorcycle helmet. I just need a disposable cable for an external microphone.

It does what it is supposed to do. It's a little fiddly at first because the actual wiring is a little heavier than most, but it can be managed. I'm not using external video/audio connections yet, so I can't recommend them other than sometimes they get in the way. I've used it in mud and rain on my MTB and a few rain rides on my roadie. Much better than changing the battery and exposing the lens/internal to water/moisture.

Good quality cable. Corresponds to the declared properties. It's the only option, so if you need it, you need it. You have no other choice. My only complaint. it is short! Its total length can be 18 inches.
