Buy and don't look back

I have a TH400 with manual valve set to road/strip and have not been able to fix sump leaks. After 4 more repair attempts I used this pad and the problem was solved. Don't waste a dime or a minute on anything else.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Annoying

A serious pan seal.

This is a serious seal that I wanted to try when I got tired of trying everything else. Two layers with steel in between. Each layer is thicker than the rubber pads I've tried. I haven't installed it yet, but am looking forward to trying it out.

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Repair

Better value for money than I think. Seals perfectly.

I'm tired of using felt because it's a resealable diva if you ever have to drop the drip tray (required to change filters and liquid). I see no need to ever replace this. Spend some extra cash and get this beast.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Easy to install and will prevent the transmission from ever leaking.

Seems like every connector or transmission pan rubber gasket I've replaced or paid for replacement was still leaking. It's not like this. It's easy to install and no RTV sealant is required, eliminating the mess. For a good seal, you need CLEAN, FLAT sump and gear surfaces. A bent or warped pan will leak no matter what gasket you use. This seal was used on the TH400 in 87 Chevy V30/K30. I reused the factory screws. The pad is not so thick that it cannot be reused. Cork and rubber gaskets suck…

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Looks good, works good

Happy with it on my Th400, no more leaks. However, be sure to tighten the oil pan bolts in the correct cross pattern as shown in the picture and use the correct torque which my service manual says is 13 ft-lbs. Do not overtighten the pan screws.

Pros
  • Gaskets require no sealant allowing for quick removal and installation of transmission pans
Cons
  • Operating Speed
