Will not fit 1993 YJ with 4.0L engine.

Didn't fit. The compulsion only made him give in. Returned to Revain and had to pay for return shipping. It's better to buy it from a supplier who knows jeeps and parts that fit specific models. The picture of this hose is pretty accurate and if you look at your old hose you can see it's nowhere near as good.

Pros
  • Specially designed materials to resist vacuum collapse
Cons
  • Don't really like it, it's ok

Perfect fit for 1989 Jeep Wrangler with air conditioning

Perfect fit for my 1989 Jeep Wrangler YJ. The previous hose rubbed on the alternator causing it to be severed by the pulley and leaking. This hose has a perfect bend so this will never happen again. Some people suggest using a smaller belt from the alternator to the A/C compressor - that's not necessary with this hose. great product

Pros
  • Designed to resist electrochemical degradation which is the primary cause of hose failure
Cons
  • I will add later

Fits great no worries

I was a bit concerned after reading another review about it. I contacted local O'Reilly and Pep Boys stores and both gave me the same part number as my Jeep. Although they weren't quite the shape they'd never been in before, they fit perfectly. It leaned up a bit, but that's okay as it gave the air conditioning compressor more clearance. My Jeep is a '92 Wrangler Islander with a 4.0 engine and air conditioning (no modifications).

Pros
  • Conforms to SAE 20R4 class D2 and DIN 73411 class A (no tolerances)
Cons
  • Older model
