High quality material, poor technology!

This belt didn't quite fit my 2003 Lexus LS430. I had to trim about 5 inches to keep it from rubbing against the drive belt. Buyer Warning!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Something else

Not suitable for 2000 Lexus LS400, not suitable for OEM.

According to the specification to fit Lexus LS400 1998-2000 It does not match OEM and does not fit directly. I had to cut a lot and it's still rubbing on the mounting screw. After about 1000 miles a hole appeared in it. Get an OEM hose, not this one.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Clarity

Didn't fit properly. Buy an OEM or leave the original there.

Didn't fit properly on my Lexus LS430, after a few weeks the accessory strap rubbed a hole in it. You either had to leave the original there or pay $5 more and get an OEM that was exactly the same as the original. Now I have to do all the work all over again.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Frequency

Thin walled and shorter than required

I bought this thinking how the heck it could be so hard to find a hose. Well I was wrong. This hose, including the top, was about 24mm shorter and the hose walls, which I was able to get decent measurements on, were about 2mm thinner than the OEM. Any of these "cost-cutting" moves can result in catastrophic premature failure, leaving you stuck in the worst-performing areas. I tried a little and bought genuine hoses from the online Lexus parts store.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of style
