Very noisy best in belts

Replaced my bearing with this since I removed it, tensioner seems to jump a lot and is very noisy. Maybe a weak spring or not the size of the strap that came with the kit.

Pros
  • belts, hoses and pulleys
Cons
  • upgrades

Tensioner kit ok but belt twisted

Tensioner kit was ok but V-ribbed belt was so twisted in the bag we couldn't use it. I had to buy a separate belt. Was limited in time so it was very frustrating.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • No instructions

Worked primarily in Serpentine

The belt in this kit did not fit my 2006 Honda Pilot EX (2WD). This is our fourth Honda with a J-Series V6 engine and this is the first time I've tried an aftermarket belt. Spanner went in fine. The belt in this set was about an inch too small to fit over the pulleys. No tensioner movement could compensate for the short belt length. I went to the dealer and got the correct belt and had no problems with the factory belt. My advice: buy a tensioner and get the belt from the dealer. I understand…

Pros
  • Belt
Cons
  • Requires Socket
