Gates makes belts for Honda

This belt worked great on my 2004 Honda Civic EX with a 1.7 liter engine. Gates makes original belts for Honda. The only difference is that HONDA did not stand. Just buy this one and save some money.

Works Great: Belt

Works great, but not a procedure the average backyard mechanic can perform. Splitter operation on a Honda Civic with ABS. Honda dealer and saved over $600 doing it myself. The factory manual and fault code reader saved the day my check engine light stayed on after the first start. (I left the sensor disabled)

Identical to Original Equipment: Belt

When I replaced my first Honda timing belt (2005 Civic) the belt I removed had "Honda" written in big letters on it, and the Gates next to it -Logo. in smaller letters. This belt appears to be an exact match, except it lacks the Honda name. I've used one of these belts on my daily driver for about 125,000 miles so far with no problems (note: it really should be changed at about 100,000 intervals on a Civic).
