The dumbest timer ever! This device is a scam. An analogue timer would be an upgrade! There are 8 sockets, 4 always on and 4 supposedly controlled by a digital timer but they are not. Digital timer outputs have 7 on/off events that turn on all outputs at the same time. Despite the digital display and buttons that can control the device, not every timed socket can be controlled independently. Either all on or all off for any timed event on all 4 timed outputs. Like many others, I set it up and set it to "Auto" and it didn't turn on. After some research I found out that it needs to go through an "off" cycle before it starts cycling for the specified time. It's good when you don't need it. A workaround for immediate automatic use is to set the time slightly ahead of the current time, finish programming any times you want, set to auto, and exit setup. After switching on, change the current day's switch-on time to the desired time. Viola! Problem solved.

I've only had this a day, so I can't say much about durability. But the first impression after 24 hours is that it does what it's supposed to do. Setup can be tricky as the instructions don't explain it properly. If you program the wake-up time, you must make it a few minutes later than the current time. This item offers excellent value for money; I appreciate that it comes in black which is hard to find for a programmable power strip here at Revain, also this product is very easy to program, I hardly had to refer to the setup guide. This tricky product. I even returned one. I finally read a review that helped me program the timer bar. Basically 2 rows of sockets - one with time, the other without time.
