2011 Chevy Cruze 1.4L Eco Turbo

**GASKET INCLUDED** Bought this camshaft cover (valve cover) for my car. The Service Stabilitrack and Service Cruise Control indicators continued to appear along with the Check Engine indicator. The car drove well, but when idling it worked very hard. Lots of hopping and hopping when idling with the brakes or in the parking lot. Put the new cap on, it only took about 10 minutes and my car showed improvements almost immediately. The check engine light went out within 15 minutes of driving and…

Not Fit 2013 Chevy Cruze LT (Non-Turbo)

The non-turbo option does not exist when selecting from the drop down lists on Amazon and my car is a 2013 Chevy Cruze LT. However, if this option is selected, the part will not fit the engine when it arrived. I could stand it and clearly see the difference. I wish I had done this before ordering the part but the oil fill hole is in the opposite position from the oil fill hole on this one, although this site claims it will fit my car it is not. I'm not rating this as bad, just FYI that you must

No silicone in engines and engine parts

This was the perfect valve cover replacement for my 2012 Chevy Cruze 1.4L ECO model. I didn't use silicone to make the seals between the gasket and the head and I had no leakage. The old one didn't have them, so I didn't want to risk it. I went ahead and replaced the spark plugs with a different set when the time came and the coils were removed anyway. The OEM connectors are ACDelco 41121 and 4 of them only cost about $20 so why not? Be sure to torque the bolts to 72 in-lbs (6 ft/lbs) in…

VALVE COVER KIT INCLUDING GASKET

Installation went smoothly. I just removed all the old 8mm bolts, removed all the old valve covers and replaced them with this part and ran in the 8mm bolts that came with the kit. I liked that the 7 screws were non-removable, installation was simple and easy. I used an 8mm ratchet screwdriver to secure the valve cover. I, like the other reviewers, wasn't given any torque instructions/specs (I didn't want to break the plastic, so I used a screwdriver ratchet and didn't even turn the screws. I…

Works as advertised but what you should know

Was the correct replacement part for my 2012 ECO 1.4. I only gave it 4 stars because GM engineers made this part a little cheap. I had to replace it because the built in PCV valve failed causing my idle to be uneven. It issued code P0171. Problems I've encountered even after watching many installation videos: 1. Hard to make sure the rubber gasket will fall off when trying to install it. I used a dental mirror to make sure it was set correctly all around. This is after it was leaked because it…

Perfect fit as it should be

Great factory part for a great part. The sad thing is when others have replaced this part because the pressure control valve on top of the cap has failed (a whistle along with a rough idle), like mine you need to fix the root of the problem or you will replace these cover again. The problem is the failure of the small orange PCV rubber valve in the intake manifold. What you need to do is remove the hard corrugated/ribbed line that connects to the top of the intake manifold and shine a…
