I do like them. There is elastic around the waist. They are big on me and roomy. And the pockets are deep enough for a iphone 11 (barely) or newer iphone SE. The back pockets are less deep. Mine came with a belt. I'm not sure if someone else tried them on first because the zipper was down and maybe someone did, so I washed them right away. They fit, but from the side the fabric looks like I have a tummy that I don't have -- it's a pooch in the fabric. The belt helps some to keep it from folding

I wanted a pair of paper bag shorts. I have larger hips and smaller waist . I have always loved this style not tight on thighs and a flattering shape on my body type. I order a medium was not sure of what size to get. I wear a 6-8 in pants shorts. I ordered the stone wash denim. They arrived today love Prime shipping. I tried them on fit is good baggy extra room in front, I do not have a belly but these shorts would hide one.

I love them with my size it’s hard to find shorts that compliment my body type these shorts are the perfect length and made with the perfect fabric it has an elastic band around the waist to stretch around the belly area, also its firm so you don’t see too much bulging. However I will say if you have a fupa like mine it will round it out a bit so I recommend wearing some sort of slimming garment underneath if you don’t want it to show. All in all a great buy!

These are pretty nice material but unless you have no ass, you should order two sizes up. These fit my waist and are okay in the thighs, though a little tighter than expected with a whole size bigger than was recommended. But they are too tight through the butt area which makes them pull tightly across the crotch area and super loose right above so it sort of looks like a diaper.

Because these shorts are not the best material, they will crease/wrinkle after a bit of wear especially if you sit in them for an hour or so. I will be keeping them even longer though I kinda look fat.If you are a bit of a potato, you will look a bit chunkier in these but that is no fault of the designer.
