The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

Loops are interesting. One was allowed. The network did not lay down - and that's good. I looked at the ports, saw where the problem was - I fixed it quickly. Has pros: 1) Link Aggregation - combination of two network lines into one. To get the widest and most powerful channel for data transmission. 2) Installation on any surface. A small device with an inconspicuous design, even if it hangs on the table, I won’t notice it. 3) Web-GUI with a clear and beautifully designed interface. Got cons…

It's not all bad, an average quality purchase.

Who needs link aggregation using the 802.3ad protocol - bypass it. Everywhere it is written that there is, and not a word about it in the documentation. Some pros: There is a web interface. You can programmatically enable or disable ports. Loop detection. gigabit ports. Its cons: Link Aggregation, or rather the implementation of the Link Aggregation Group, but not LACP. How much time I spent on Google and on this switch to understand why the mikrotik hex rb750gr3 -> Zyxel -> Proxmox with LACP…

Has some pros Gigabit Internet support in all 8 ports. Convenient and clear configuration via web. full duplex. Performance at 16 Gbps. Increased buffer up to 192 kb. Has some cons Mine did not have a standard password and login written on it. I had to drive in from memory, sort out.

This is a gigabit switch where you can't select gigabit manually :(

First of all, if you want an inexpensive 8-port Need gigabit switch, Good choice. I've had it every few days so can't confirm its longevity. It allows you to configure layer 2 VLANs and multicast segmentation. I haven't configured it yet, but it looks good .I would recommend installing the latest firmware on the device if you understand it There are 4 things I don't like about the switch: - You can't select gigabit and you can't select full/half duplex either. You can only choose Auto, Select 10

Pros
  • Dividing the network into small groups using VLAN to improve network security and efficiency
Cons
  • Expensive

DON'T USE WINDOWS? READ IT!

The GUI of this router is designed to work with WINDOWS systems. The configuration save/reload feature requires you to have a C drive: I'm using Linux. Linux does not use drive letters. I have a GS1900-24E which for the $98 spent is AMAZING. The 24E has an EXCELLENT web interface that offers a lot of information and settings. It doesn't matter what operating system you have. On the other hand, the web interface of the GS1200-8 is aimed at the average WINDOWS home user. If you try to backup or…

Pros
  • Intuitive web control.
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Good switch at a great price

I've only had this product for a few days and I like it so far. It does exactly what I need to manage my personal ESXi media server and file server at home. Supports IPv4 and IPv6, LAG ports (to connect a file server to a media server with a 2 Gbps LAG group), limited to 32 Vlans, which is quite enough (not that a simple home network has more than half a dozen would need) This allows traffic from the file server to the media server to never leave the switch and remain separate from other…

Pros
  • Fanless design. This ensures quiet operation and greater reliability and service life.
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

A reliable product, quality is acceptable.

The main usage scenario is when you need a breakdown of vlan by ports, but otherwise a "stupid" unmanaged switch is enough. For the same money (~2k), competitors offer richer functionality. Alas, for my tasks this switch was almost useless. Its pros: If chips of managed switches are not needed, it works out of the box without any complaints. There is a web interface, loop detection, checking if the port is in use. A good choice for personal use. Cons below: There is no mac-address filter, so…

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

I bought this device to configure other network equipment for other networks, just for convenience I want to have a switch with already configured vlan ports, and not reconfigure the same port a million times. I see one negative review on this switch, yes, I was also at a loss, but fortunately the V2.00(ABME.0)C0 ate fixes this shortcoming. So who needs a switch for a small office, feel free to buy.

Pros
  • Small, light, loaded quickly, has basic functions for building a network using vlan, port speed 1Gbit.
Cons
  • At first, I was a little surprised to find that the switch was controlled exclusively from vlan 1, but the firmware ate corrected the situation, as a result, you can assign any control vlan.
