Works well but not as well as my last pair of Giro gloves.

I have a pair of old Giro gloves that I thought were identical but I like the old ones better. I don't know if they changed the size a bit, or the fabric, or something else. But they just don't work. I find they slip a little and wrinkle a little under my hand. Maybe they're just bigger than the old ones, but they seem to fit when I'm not cycling, but during use they don't fit. Not sure what I will do for my next pair of gloves as I love my old Giro gloves which appear to be identical. Butโ€ฆ

Not a decent glove anymore

These were my favorite cycling gloves. I ordered 2 pairs this year. The first was XL, a size I've ordered many times. They were too small. The second pair I ordered was XXL. Still too small. Both pairs began to fall apart at the seams after just a few rides. Also, velcro straps are now much smaller than before. Like many other items, these used to be good, but things have improved. I cannot recommend these gloves more. If you see a product with a lot of reviews, be sure to sort by date and notโ€ฆ

Don't go any further. for outerwear

Don't waste your money on it. After two weeks of use they have already started to fall apart. First, the Velcro on the strap folds over the glove when you're not using it and pulls on the fabric, making the gloves look older than they really are. The fingers have stretched to the point where there is just an open slit around my fingers when I wear them. Also, the seams have already started to come apart. To clarify usage, I only use it for my weekday commute, which is currently around 10 milesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Test for one year

  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Good value for money. Standard Giro fit, so they fit me.

My favorite glove. Good value for money. Standard Giro fit, so they fit me. These particular Bravos claim to have a gel pad, but I can't tell them apart from older Bravos that didn't have a gel pad. The padding is definitely noticeable, but it extends evenly across the entire palm, unlike some Specialized BG fingerless gloves that have more padding in places. They make my wrists rotate and hurt. They are mediocre at high humidity. I thoroughly soak these gloves in the middle of summer, but Iโ€ฆ

Very, very good gloves at a great price.

This is a mid glove from Giro. Prongs are the base cost and Monaco is their best glove. The padding is only (perhaps) slightly less than the Monaco, and the palm of the glove is suede compared to the Pittard Monaco leather. This glove is non-sticky so the glove slides over the bar. This is a plus in my opinion as gloves with this feature tend to pinch my fingers when I squeeze the brake levers. I find that sticky gloves are more important for off-road riders and I consistently work on the road.

  • Some issues

I am having some issues with this product. They are .

I have some problems with this product. They are very well made but I think the gel pad for healing your hand is in the wrong place, at least on my pair. I bought these because my old gloves ran about 4000 miles and I noticed that after about 30 miles my hand, fingers and arm were tingling and numb. It used to take about 50 miles. With these new gloves, the same situation arose about 7-10 miles away. So I compared my rides a bit, what gear I was wearing, posture, turrain, distance, and also Iโ€ฆ

Giro Bravo Lead/White Gloves

Gloves fit as expected with a hand chart where you can place your hand on a chart of different hand sizes for a proper fit worked for me. The gloves are soft, the gel pads have an appropriate feel and give you extra shock absorption on the road on the handlebars or grips. The back of the glove is made from a lightweight, stretchy and breathable fabric that conforms to your hand while wicking away heat and moisture. and under load when going uphill I couldn't grip the shifters tight enough toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Fits good; wears out quickly

***Update 2***Giro sent me a replacement. This is a newer version that has pockets on two fingers of each glove, making it easier to get them off your hands. Also, they are very similar. If they last at least another 500 miles I would consider the initial purchase to be good value for money so I'm increasing my rating from 3 to 4 stars. Although Giro wasn't the quickest in replies, I am impressed with their service. I actually lost my helmet pad on a trip and they sent me a replacement too - no
