Nylon 3D printer filament vacuumed sealed with desiccant is the perfect filament for intermediate users looking for strong and resilient parts. Extrusion nozzle temperature: 230 - 260 C; Recommended to use a heated build platform. 1.75mm filament diameter (Dimensional Accuracy of +/- 0.03mm). Arrived sealed but damp.

Comes in a sealed bag but it was wet. Straight out of the bag it crackled like crazy when printing, almost hissed, better after a few hours drying (in the oven at the lowest temp), but absorbs moisture quickly, either that or the spool has only dried a few coats. High tendency to warp and detach, as is usual with nylon. Using a 110 degree table and a glue stick (printed at 260). I was able to make some decent gears etc on a closed printer. I was a bit disappointed that the filament came on one…

If you are looking for a good nylon thread try this one:

I don't understand all the other complaints about this thread. It arrives clean and visibly bone dry! I've printed several small line control nitro fuel tanks using only a Davinci 1.0 printer with default settings and each one was perfect, no leaks, no breakage. I used glue stick but other than that it was nothing special. I then tried it in the Lulzbot Mini, set the recommended temperatures for normal nylon printing and tried again. It's nylon, nothing is light

The thread seems to be of good quality and has a constant thickness. Mine came in a sealed bag, although I had to dry it in the oven as there was a lot of moisture ie. That. Adhesion with nylon is difficult and this particular one is prone to warping, so make sure you have a G10 sheet or some type of hardboard to print with. The combination of glass and glue doesn't seem to work for this. Also the temperature range given in the product description seems to be wrong, the actual temperature when…
