Description of Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance plus 225/55 R16 95H winter

Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+ tires introduced for the 2019-2020 winter season. Innovative solutions in the manufacture of the rubber compound for this model made it safe to drive at high speeds on wet and snowy roads. The Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance+ directional tread pattern provides excellent traction and braking on winter surfaces. Confident grip on ice and snow is possible thanks to the special projector design and tire construction. The tread wear indicator will tell you when it''s time to think about replacing tires. Goodyear UltraGrip Performance Plus tires are ideal for those who don''t compromise on comfort and speed.

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

Always keep in mind that tires without spikes are like driving with your head on the ice. Aside from that, there is no cause for concern; the level of noise is acceptable, and the quality is superb. I rode my bike in knee-deep snow; rowing is great (4vd naturally), and it is predictable on ice if you choose the appropriate speed. There was no evidence of any lateral drifts. At speeds that are considered reasonable, hydroplaning does not occur. The wear is consistent (well, it's absent, in…

Pros
  • Workmanship Conduct on snow and ice, as well as dry and wet asphalt Damage resistance
Cons
  • Price, yet as of late, the cost of every type of tire has gone up.

The density of the rubber is surprising given how supple it is. Typically, I switch to snow tires well in advance of any accumulation of the white stuff. I've only ever driven on ice a handful of times, and each time it was late at night. At speeds of up to 100 miles per hour, the car was easily managed and responded confidently to the steering wheel. Moving in wet snow is simple; there is no need to roll and swim. Even while going around corners slowly or at a medium clip, nothing bad happens.

Pros
  • maintains its shape, stays there, and glides over normal bumps on the road
Cons
  • No

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

A friend works at a tire shop, he advised me to put it on Superb. The machine is frisky, sometimes I like to press down a little, but in winter it is mostly a city. UltraGrip Performance + suits the price, and I read the tests, the rubber is far from last. On a wet road, good water drainage is felt, even at a speed passing puddles, the car does not float, it retains its trajectory. It steers confidently in ice, even when it begins to thaw or the ice from above sprinkles with a little snow. For…

Pros
  • soft, resistant to ice, does not throw the car in puddles
Cons
  • No

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

Velcro already went, but from a different price echelon (Triangle PL01). Rubber only a few days as put, but immediately pleasantly surprised. If earlier, when switching to winter tires, I instinctively changed my driving style to a more relaxed one, then there is no need for this. Like absolutely transparent steering reactions, braking, acceleration. The joints on the bridges became barely noticeable. In a word - rubber is one of the top modern ones. For the Hong Kong winter with its eternal…

Pros
  • Grip, steering response, silence.
Cons
  • Haven't revealed yet

It was a terrible purchase, but I wasted my money.

Bought last fall and caused a storm of positive emotions in terms of handling and stability on different surfaces, but after 6000 runs (several trips to the Crimea and Adygea and rare outings around the city), the rubber stopped holding the road. After 4,500 km of run, when it hit a rut, there were problems with directional stability and parasitic drift of the front axle in corners on wet surfaces, it was a fault for the suspension and wheel alignment, but the service pointed to rubber. (Car…

Pros
  • Appearance, commercials and "paid" comparative tests and reviews.
Cons
  • Blend quality and tread. Rubber for 3-5 thousand, then all properties are lost and it can be thrown away.
