Durable Tarpaulin: Tarpaulin

Product as advertised, strong and durable. We live on the plains in Colorado and there are some pretty strong winds. This tarp holds up well. The eyelets are evenly distributed and well finished.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled

Beautiful, thick, durable. The sockets hold up well!

It arrived exactly as described, I'm very satisfied but the real test is how long it lasts. As this is a relatively recent purchase and I've only been using it for a few months I'll have to update it when it's gone so you know how long it lasts outdoors, in bright sun/rain etc. Hence 4 stars for now.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Hard tarpaulin is good for tarpaulin

No problem with this product. It is strong and has multiple rings around the perimeter to keep the tarp in place. The material itself feels heavy and makes gardening a lot easier (I put all the trimmed vegetation and weeds on a tarp and pull it to the curb, cutting the job in half). This also works just as well on a roof, covering something from the weather. would recommend.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • So far so good

There is actually a hard version.

Reinforced version of this tarpaulin is good and strong. The edges are cord reinforced and have a 2" bonded overlap, the grommets on the corners have plenty of extra reinforcement from a double layer of thick plastic. And the 10 mil sheet metal thickness is decent. The tarpaulin is black on one side and silver gray on the other Page that should endure a lot of hardships.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Useless features

This tarp is much thicker than most other tarps

I was immediately impressed with the thickness of this tarp, see I thought it was the same as most other tarps. , but it's a lot harder work. In fact, upon unboxing it was a bit stiff and not as brittle as most. I actually use it as flooring in my 10ft x 10ft canopy tent with the last 2ft being where my crib and fridge are. It has very strong grommets so I was able to use some tent pegs to secure and hold it in place. This is a "real" tarp.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great tarp! - Hardware

I received this tarp with the intention of using it for spring gardening and found an unexpected use for it that I was excited about. Sounds a bit over the top for a plain tarp? Perhaps. I sit outside a lot all year round and that cuts down on the cold in winter. On a windy day, I took a tarp and draped it over the porch railing next to where I was sitting as a windbreak. What a difference between day and night when you use this tarp as a windbreak and combine it with a newly purchased Quart…

Light feel, light wear

This tarp is listed as "Heavy Duty" and is 10 mils thick. It's almost twice as thick as other tarps I've seen at Revain. But it doesn't feel heavy or durable. I have a $4 5 x 7 ft tarp that feels thicker and heavier, has a visible mesh surface that I believe is some type of reinforced fiber, and after three uses feels softer than this tarp. This tarpaulin still feels "crunchy" even after it has been folded up and down several times. I'm not particularly impressed with this tarpaulin. However…

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • No mold required
