I had a fine carpet for many years, but not the most expensive and therefore not very square. He hesitated just to look at him. I've tried different non-slip carpet cleaners but none worked. My rug has been stuck to the rug for weeks and it hasn't moved an inch. I've seen reports of it leaving marks, I've cleaned corners regularly and so far there haven't been any signs of problems. Highly recommended.

I love these little handles! My son told me about it. I have used many different types over the 50 years that I have been married, all have disappointed me from the start! So far it works like clockwork! Haven't taken and washed them yet so can't comment, but they hold the mats in place (they're cotton mats), the corners don't lift or move. Soooo I've had them for a while and I have to say they work great. I've used them with rag rugs and they had LOTS of fiber that wouldn't wash off. I used WD 40 and was able to scrape the strings and then wash them. Voila! Hope that helps.

I used them for the first time, they worked great. However when I decided to wash my rugs and had to remove them, they WILL NOT work a second time. The instructions say to rinse with water or rubbing alcohol which I did. One side works and the other doesn't, the stickiness is gone. I am satisfied with the first use. The description says that they do not affect the parquet. I tried them on diagonal corners first as I saw that they have a very strong adhesive that sticks straight to the floor. They were only there a few days and the carpet was peeling off the corner piece. The piece was lying on the floor and when I tried to remove it it was stuck and ripped off the trim and a piece of wood. Now I have a crack in the floor that I need to fix. I was so excited to try these because we have 3 very large dogs and my mats NEVER stayed in place. The handles are easy to attach to the carpet. Once laid, the grips adhere excellently! My 115 pound German Shepherd didn't even move. But when washing carpets, the problems began. The handles came off the floor with no problem. However, they tore up the back of each carpet.
