Amazing technical support!

I'm having a problem getting it to work on my HP laptop with Windows 10 Home. A few minutes later I got a call from GTEK support as I was sending a request for help. Not sure if it was Revain or their website as I've tried both. GTEK technology has easily solved the problem of connecting USB-C and HDMI cables. The instruction manual isn't very clear - although it shows both cables - it just doesn't say you need to connect both. He did a great job of explaining the "why” i.e. USB C only delivers

Cheap and great for the job

I brought this for my work. I work in a non-traditional environment but do a lot of reporting and having two screens is very convenient. I love that I don't have to plug it into the wall so I'm very portable with my computer and monitor. It has a screen protector and doubles as a decent stand.

The monitor is good but the stand is terrible

The screen is somewhere between matte and glossy. Has good brightness levels. When using USB C air, only one cable is needed for power and signal. The moment you switch to HDMI, you still need a USB-C port for power delivery. That's how the standards are set up, but just understand that single-cable operation is USB-C to USB-C only. It comes with 2 cables, UDB C and HDMI. Both are short 3 feet. The only thing I have is a stand/lid. The magnets aren't very strong and the monitor doesn't always…

Great portable monitor

Excellent image quality and easy setup (plug and play). Figuring out how to set up the stand was a little tricky and required watching YouTube videos, but after setting it up a few times it's pretty easy. In general I am very satisfied.

As long as it's good for me

For some reason connecting to my laptop via USB-C is difficult, but using a micro HDMI cable helps. Decent performance!

Great portable but TERRIBLE case as a stand

It's a simple, high-resolution external monitor and very portable. However, remember that you will need an external stand. The case is great for protection, but the instructions for using it as a stand are insanely complicated. I figured it out (finally) after watching the video enough times (yes, it really took the video to figure out the monitor stand!) - BUT the stand feature is acceptable at best. Most importantly someone hasn't thought of the utility factor as the padded side that folds…

Great street screen for work

I work with two screens, a laptop and a monitor every day. Get this for vacation travel around the world and local weekend getaways. Honestly, this is the best money I've ever spent. It's thin, light, and slightly larger than my Lenovo Thinkpad.

I liked the properties - my new test report

I'm traveling and needed a portable monitor for work. The monitor allows me to use the same two screens with my laptop on the go as I do in the office.

Nice monitor at a good price.

I needed an additional monitor to run the Sony Vegas video editing suite. This works great for my preview and playback. 15.8 Inches.

Good monitor, garbage cable

I've had this monitor for a little over a month and the quality is excellent. However, the USB-C cable is a piece of junk. It has already started malfunctioning and causing the monitor to constantly disconnect and reconnect.

Great monitor at a good price

I bought it twice and only because the first one was damaged in an accident. It's very quick to set up and I haven't had any issues with image quality. This makes my portable setup easy to use and quick to remove. I'm sure I would do it again!

Great colors but some downsides

There is no way to save monitor settings. I had to adjust the brightness every time I turned on the monitor. Otherwise a great monitor. The colors are great and look accurate. There's also a random splash screen that flashes RGB colors, I don't know how to turn it off and the user manual doesn't mention it.

Adjust the resolution, the magnetic stand is difficult

I give it 5 stars for value but in reality it's probably a 4 star product. Because it was so affordable, I'm willing to compromise. It works great, plug and play via a powered USB-C port. I have a laptop with an old USB port that it doesn't work with, but it's not a very advanced device so that's what I expected (2014 13" Macbook Pro). It works on my 2021 16" M1 Macbook Pro outstanding. The resolution is great, but READ MORE. Initially I was very disappointed with the quality of the resolution,

Additional work required to connect iPad/iPhone

With my MacBook, the plug-and-play function only works with a USB-C to USB cable (not included). Two included cables: HDMI to mini-HDMI and USB-C to USB-C. I have USB-C to Lightning Cable, JSAUX [Apple MFi Certified] 6ft iPhone 13/12 Fast Charging Cable iPhone USB-C Cable for iPhone 13/13 Pro/13 Pro Max/12/12 Mini/12 Pro Max/11 Pro Max/ X/XS/XR/8, iPad 8, Airpods to try to connect to my iPad/iPhone but it didn't work. i will return it I'll try an Apple-supplied USB-C to Lightning cable instead…

Good monitor, bad stand

Bought when I tested positive for COVID. My wife has taken the home office and extra monitors with me, and I had to work remotely at my dining table and needed extra screen real estate asap. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this screen - I'm not sure you'll find anything similar at this price point. As others have pointed out, the stand and lid combo sucks, but the price allows for a relatively small downside. Pros: - Color is decent - maybe a little darker than I'd like, but I really…

Great monitor, but weak case

This is a great monitor to take with you on vacation or business trips. It serves its purpose and has been very helpful so far. The only thing I wish was different is the case. The case is extremely thin and it can be a bit tricky to figure out how to use it, so I bought a special stand instead, which worked much better.

Great monitor: my review

So far this monitor has been a lifesaver when I'm working remotely and need an extra screen. I like that the monitor is powered by my laptop. Very satisfied with the real picture quality on the monitor. An added bonus is the carrying case that doubles as a stand. Highly recommended

Great second monitor for on the go

I despise using my laptop screen as my only display (I have two monitors at work and at home), especially when traveling. This travel monitor was a sanity savior! Larger and higher quality graphics than my laptop, but perfect for travel. I had to support the monitor to keep it from sliding (perhaps the instructions for using the lid as a stand would have helped) but that was my only issue and it was minor. Highly recommended for travel or if you need to take a second monitor with you to…
