This piece is about 2.5 cm longer than my helmet. The back ends with a hole. I did not try to cut the material. The front is ok but the back is a little worn. I'm guessing it's because I can't pin properly. It would be better if it was an inch or two shorter.

I was so happy when I got the mohawk, he has nice hair and he's kind of shiny but here's the problem, he's attached to a velcro strap! I thought it was a catch on the mohawk, but no. My helmet has velcro that I can change, but what about my other patches? In general, the quality is good!

Item was improperly molded so the lousy adhesive would not bond properly. The glue used is sticky but does not stick well to the product. In summer this glue softens and I wouldn't be surprised if something is missing. If I had 3M tape (red backing) I would substitute the China junk that is on the product. I will replace the Chinese glue after going to the store. Chinese things come off easily.

I bought this because I wear a dark jacket and pants when I ski - my friends said I was hard to spot. I just spent a week in the Rockies with this on my helmet and they loved how easy the Mohawk was able to find me! It suits me even though I'm a skier in my 40's. It's Velcro so you don't have to wear it on your helmet all the time. You can also detach it and put it in the helmet for storage/transport to prevent hair from breaking. Maybe less cool if you want it to stick straight up, but I…
