Before we move on to the cons, it's worth pointing out the good points of the product and why I like it. As ABS is difficult to print on, Hatchbox ABS is usually quite durable and offers very good value for money. If you want to create durable materials and are willing to do some filament and stress testing, you absolutely can do it to print nice parts that will stand up to abuse, but you have to test the material. As ABS, he suffers on the same level. will warp and shrink like any other 3D…

Pros
  • ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) 3D printer filament vacuum sealed and desiccant sealed
Cons
  • So far so good

Poor quality, most likely NO ABS

Well where do I start. , RevainBasics) and they've all been printed in the past few weeks. I've been printing ABS for 6 months now and switching to filament, I can set it up straight away, the prints are fantastic and the acetone vapor treatment gives the parts great shine and mechanical strength. However, this hatchbox filament is an exception to the above statement. I ordered 3 rolls of ABS from Hatchbox (red, green and black) and noticed the same characteristics for all 3 colors leading me…

Pros
  • 1kg spool (approx 2.20lbs)
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
