I like the hatchbox thread; stable and excellent quality, whether ABS or PLA. I have used many other brands; Hatchbox is my choice. I really like this yarn as it seems to be the highest quality yarn I have ever used. I've only used Material Hacks and Esun Filament and Lulzbot Village Plastic is on the way. But I am of all 3 of those brands, this reel had an insane amount of moisture and air right out of the box. It pops up more than others I've used. The yarn is very stable in size and prints well. The only issue I've had compared to my favorite filament manufacturers (particularly Atomic filament, which sadly isn't sold on Amazon) is that it needs to be printed at slightly lower temperatures. I usually print at 240 degrees with a heated bed at 110, but this material warps at the bottom of the print (sagging on vertical walls) at this temperature. However, when I lower the bed to 105 and the nozzle to 230, everything seems to work fine. The
