HATCHBOX UV-Blue PLA 1KG 1.75mm Filament with Dimensional Changes Review

It's basically just white, you need to be in bright sunlight for it to work. and the second you return to the shadow, it's white. The color in full sun is disappointing, besides it's only a pale blue. Pretty disappointing as I was a big fan of this brand. And I was very excited to use it, but it's useless. Buy white or other types.

This filament prints well like all Hatchbox products. But my complaint is about the color. It's advertised as a white-to-blue transition, but "white" is more of a pink-beige and the finish color is more of a blue-purple. (See photo for comparison between actual white PLA item and this material when placed indoors). The photos in the listing are misleading, they show the filament changing from bright white to medium blue - the reality is different and disappointing.

This has to be the coolest filament I have. I had my doubts when I ordered it, thinking it wouldn't work that well. I've seen videos on youtube showing it changing color but thought it could be changed. But I opened a little pill as soon as I received it and tried it. As soon as you step into the sun, it turns dark blue. When you step out of the sun, it turns white again. I printed a spinner, several types of rings and a pill box.
