I've heard good things about this

I've heard good things about them but I installed them with new Stoptech slotted rotors and Stoptech reinforced stainless steel brake hoses and flushed and bled the whole system and I wasn't at all happy with the performance. They squeak horribly when braking and produce tons of brake dust. I won't buy them again.

  • . Everything is great!
Cons
  • Nothing

Excellent and responsive tablet.

I bought these pads for my 2001 Honda Prelude to replace the original pads and they feel much more responsive than the old ones. My next pads will be OEM fresh and I will update this review again to give another opinion on the performance of these pads and if they are worth the money. For now though, I love them and they're worth the premium price (which honestly isn't that premium haha). Thanks Necrodox.

  • Good Build

Car lasts as expected

We did it ourselves with a friend. Once we figured out how the pistons fit in my car, they popped up with no problems. Just remember to keep the plates that came with your original brakes as you will need them again for these. Use brake lube and they should click pretty quickly when you're ready. When we were done, we found a quiet road and hit the brakes. Between them and some slotted power slots, my car can stop for a dime. highly recommended!

Pros
  • Not cheap but neat
Cons
  • Long time

Their initial bite is excellent. They're not loud at all.

I am now a dedicated HPS individual. I have them on all my cars. My Montero Sport from 33s, 96 Civic work car and 97 CRV family car. Their initial bite is excellent. They are not noisy at all and withstand even severe frosts. These were the two main issues as several people complained about them on various forums. I'm assuming they didn't lap (break in) the pad properly. Also, to be perfectly honest, it's hard to compare an old, worn out pad to a brand new one. If I had little money, I would…

  • New to my collection

Excellent stopping power

I have these pads on three cars: Cobra 97, 3000GT 95 and Accord 98. They are ferro-carbon pads and you can stop insanely hard with them. These are not OEM pads and can be a bit noisier than OEM pads, but that happens when you need high performance. Does a Ferrari sound like a Civic? In any case. Especially with these pads you have to run them in on a freshly prepared or new brake disc. Instructions must accompany the seals. follow them Really. This is of great importance. Just be responsible…
