Incredible value for money

Can't believe you can get two horns and a relay for under ten bucks. I replaced the horrible horn that came with my golf cart so all I needed was a horn. I used a low frequency horn and it's perfect. I may install a different horn on my child's Power Wheels. Hm.

Loud and simply good for light and electrics

If you understand the mechanics of the car, then that's great. You don't need a "wiring harness" that's already in your car. Definitely one if not the easiest mod I've made for my beloved 4runner. Unscrew the factory horn, connect the factory wiring harness to positive and add a ground wire (which easily threads onto the screw you just removed), screw on the cool new horns and you're done! That's easy.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • High price

Terrible communication, incomplete order, return and replacement took another 3 weeks. Spending so much time and money was a waste! I would rather pay more from a knowledgeable seller or pay less and get the package faster! I guess take your poison, good luck Yes the horns work fine.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Questionable senior purchase

Loud and annoying Good for parts

The existing horn in my 2013 Nissan LEAF was dingy to say the least. I think half the time he wasn't noticed on the street. Well, not anymore! Realizing how easy it was to replace the horn, I found this kit. I decided to use the existing wiring at about 18 gauge, so I decided to just use one horn from the kit (at 300Hz) as I was concerned that the 18 gauge wiring wouldn't be able to handle the current for both horns would. Measured with my Apple Watch right in front of the car, the previous…

Not the best sound, not that loud

One of my standard horns died so I wanted the best horn I could get that would fit the same size. They had a higher DB rating than direct OEM replacements, but I'm not sure I would buy them. I was expecting the horns to be stiffer because I replaced the spiral horns with discs, but it's more of a mid-high tone than a deep treble. They gave my car a faint sound, not the string signal I was looking for. They're not that loud either. They work well enough though and being able to mount them…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Compatibility

An exceptionally loud upgrade over my factory base 2020 Legacy. It comes in a box with two horns and a relay. This is a 300Hz horn and a 500Hz horn. Each has a small bracket screwed on that fits perfectly into my car's existing radiator bracket. You don't need correct polarity to make a connection as the audio works with positive and negative tuning using either terminal as long as one is positive and the other negative. It is important to note that each of them draws about 6 amps and together…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Hella Super Tone best in electric

Used these to replace the original horn in the '07 MX-5. The factory horn is essentially a single motorcycle horn. Installation issues were mainly due to the car: changing from a single small to a double large horn and access. To get to the location of the horn you need to remove the front bumper. To install them I scrapped the original bracket and made a new one from a 1" sheet of aluminum flat stock, bent it into an L shape and allowed myself to screw both horns to the L tip. The end result…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
