The blades last about as long as other similar blades I've used, and how well they work depends in part on the tool you're using. Many years ago I bought a Fein Multimaster. This was back when they had a smooth mounting head and the blade could twist with use, requiring multiple adjustments and re-tightening. Now they've upgraded it and are offering a conversion kit for about $20.
