Fits my 1996 Honda Shadow VT600CD

Fits my 1996 Honda Shadow VT600CD with no problems. The only thing is that the vent on the back of the plastic part is facing up and not down. So far, so good. The connector is the same as OEM.

No, dead in the water after the first month.

OEM is $600. so why not give it a try. Well, if you look at the ratings, your 20-27% odds are not working in your favor. To risk or not to risk. I lost - the choice is yours.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Poor fuel pump design

Fuel pump wire connector does not fit Yamaha V Star 650 as listed. A black dust cap on the back of the pump body covers the exposed electrical coils. Poor design as the elements will definitely get into the electrics which can lead to breakage on the road.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Very happy with the fuel system

I installed this on my 94 cbr900rr and it appears to be a direct replacement. The pump has been tested and works perfectly. The only problem I had was that the electrical connection was too short so I had to solder an extension cord. You could make it too long instead of too short

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Exchange available

The fuel system didn't last long

I would give it 5 stars if the first one I ordered actually works. But that's not the case. Ordered a replacement, driven 1000 km, still works. Time will tell and I'll update if anything happens. After about 3500 miles and 8 months later the pump failed. Now I'm wondering how to replace it

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Some cons

Looks like meat, tastes like meat. It's not meat at all!

For clarity, this is Parsons' character talking to Smith's character in the cafeteria while she eats that greyish-pink "stew" in the 1984 film. I don't think it says 1948-1984 in the book. And, you might be wondering, what does the fuel pump have to do with it? Well, everyone! This pump looks like an OEM Yammy, feels like an OEM Yammy and fits like an OEM Yammy. But this is not a Yammy OEM at all! And certainly not at the Yammy OEM price point (north of $250!)! I seem to have a BIG roadside…

Pros
  • Decent Play
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
