Great for knockdown textures!

Great work! Everything is shown in the photo (including air intake shutoff valve) Replaced 2x3 foot drywall section of ceiling after moving the junction box. Sprayed with an 8mm nozzle at 35psi A basic 21 gallon supercharger that delivers 5.8cfm at 40psi so nothing special. See texture photo.

  • This is amazing

No problems with paint, wall treatment and consumables

Pros: - Works great - Three attachments Cons: - No instructions (none - zero - zero - no) - No "stand" like some other models (can be moved, no funnel spilling ) - No compressor line connection (it comes barbed) For the price I have no complaints. I had to download instructions for another manufacturer's syringe to determine the correct procedure (which certainly took a little more trial and error than usual). For the orange peel texture, I used 20psi pressure. done, stir a little more as lumps

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Inefficient and cheap

RUN! At first glance, this texture gun seems like a good weapon with a good rating. I thought it wasn't a pipe dream. Not correct! This weapon is terrible. Due to the funnel's fragile construction in relation to the gun, the funnel continued to detach from the gun. Again and again and again. I couldn't shoot more than a few square feet before the funnel could detach and my mud was scattered everywhere. The o-ring eventually came loose from the gun at the connection point to the funnel due to…

  • Pleasant to use

Really good for the price

Really good for the price. A few caveats to note: you will need to supply and install your own universal air hose quick disconnect if you intend to use one; The provided air control ball valve must be removed and discarded and replaced with a 3/8 inch full bore ball valve. The supplied ball valve is of very, very poor quality (see photo). As shown in the photo, the brass valve body is only 0.025 inch thick. This is approximately 22 AWG wire. Of course, be very careful when removing this flimsy…

A good tool for the homeowner, professionals need something else.

I really liked this sprayer. You should really ditch the cheap brass ball valve and fit a standard air coupling in its place. I was able to remove the ball valve without damaging the threads in the atomizer, but I imagine someone might have trouble with that. My setup was to use the largest tip, complete with 30psi air pressure. and the grout is mixed like pancake batter. **Remember you need an air compressor that expels quite a large amount of air. I am talking about cubic feet per minute…

Pros
  • The best in its niche

  • Expensive

Works great with my 6 gallon pancake

What I did: Went to Home Depot or wherever and got a 1/4" converter so you can convert your You can connect air hose. I have a package of various fittings for about $5. One of these screws directly onto the 1/4" nlp that comes with the kit. - I mixed the drywall (drilled the mixture) to a pancake consistency for the knockdown. I haven't had any problems with constipation. I used the cheapest air compressor I could find a small 6 liter pancake. I did the math and found I would have recommended…

Pros
  • Decent performance

  • I have no aversion to it, everything is fine

very important. continuous. Easy to use. (Cover with 45 degrees Mod)

really great price. There are various texture atomizers at Revain, all in the $30 range. I chose Hiltex's product based on the good reviews and the fast PRIME arrives at the door. Mechanism and build quality seems good for DIY and small spaces. The clamp broke almost immediately, but this is a cheap fix (with a better quality part). ** CEILING ** I found a standard funnel connector using a spray gun. Spraying ceilings is problematic. Maybe someone with more experience could get this to work…

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something Hiltex

The right tool for the job - and affordable!

My winter project this year is to remove all the popcorn from all the ceilings in my house and make a knockdown texture instead. For years I've relied on a hand pump texture sprayer for small drywall jobs because big horns are out of my price range and I've never seen a tool as simple as this that I could just plug into my car. /With. But from 1800 sqm. Meters of ceiling to retexture, hand pump was useless, and renting a large rig was out of the question if I'm going to be doing this all winter

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • The list is growing.

Formula for beginners with great results below in my comments.

First drywall texturing for me. Super easy to use and set up. You will need to purchase a female quick connector to insert into the end of the air compressor hose. I needed a slightly smaller grain splatter texture to match my walls. I spent four hours watching every YouTube video I could find trying to figure out what to do. I ended up setting the air compressor to 90psi and wide open the throttle on that funnel. I used a medium tip. I used Green Top drywall mix in a 5 gallon bucket from Home…
