Champ Transmission with Motor

Matches the original perfectly and is easy to fit. Motors don't last as long on any RC model, so there will always be another in stock. More than fair price and great product.

Pros
  • Transmission
Cons
  • Good but not great

Not enough power for Sport Cub S

Engine runs great, hence five stars. Unfortunately I could not get my Hobby Zone Sport Cub S to fly again. Engines for it were ordered a few months ago. The power of this engine is not enough for the Sport Cub S.

  • Automotive
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Bad description. part completely wrong. Very disappointing.

The part was ordered from a search on the website of the seller of parts for the Horizon Sport Cub S. This is not the right part!. The motor is about the right size, but the wiring is about an inch shorter. That doesn't fit on the plane. waste of money.

Perfect (almost): Control system

Was glad to find this part here, I was playing with my son's plane when the original died. Perfect fit, one note is that the original motor was glued into the mount, the replacement was not, dab that too, or you'll take it apart again when the motor slides back in. Ask me how I know! Rschunimagu

Replacement motor and gearbox OEM

I bought this motor/ gearbox for my champion. It was a task to get the old one out with as little foam as possible. I used hot glue to reinstall the assembly. I taped the halves of the plane together and took it out for a test flight. I noticed that the new build had a hum or buzz. I threw the plane in the air but it didn't flip! After it crashed I took it apart and found that hot glue had gotten on the steering gears. I removed the glue and tried again, this time the buzzing went away and…

  • Big and bulky
