I've used these vents on radiators for years. One recently failed after about 10 years. (The rest are doing fine, about 15 in all.) I bought a spare and they are as reliable as ever. These air vents are cheap and any price.

Six positions control the heating rate of the radiator to which it is attached. If you are near a cauldron, it is better to go slowly; removed, as a result of which heat quickly enters the room. On my unit, "slow" isn't slow enough to keep the room from overheating, but it's the best device available that reduces excessive gas consumption.

Media could not be loaded. I am currently in the process of returning the goods. It's shiny and new but there's a loud 'ding' coming from another room and considering this radiator is in the bedroom I find it quite annoying. I'll try connecting another device (ordered 3 in total) and see if the noise persists.
