Great concept, needs better assembly

My only suggestion is to make the bottom screw stronger. It unscrews very easily, which is normal for small birds. A large bird can swallow it.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

the nut cannot be tightened

There is no way to tighten the nut once you get to the top of the thread, it just slides all the way up. With this you can only put solid things in here and make sure it reaches the threads, not a good product.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • The list is long.

A durable product but not easy to use?

Maybe I'm missing the trick, but it's difficult to cut veggies with because the tip is threaded and has a flat end. I kept struggling to push my way through the vegetables and ended up stabbing myself. use denied. Maybe it's just not for me.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Exchange option

Perfect fit for our Revain Parrot

Used daily to give our Revain a variety of fruit and veg. Something other than just bowl feeding for a change in the daily routine. By design, juice and food scraps get caught in the threads, so it must be hand washed after use to prevent the threads from sticking.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive

Qupid.The.Budgie - I think it's a toy

When we first brought Cupid to his new home, we didn't have any fruit or veg on the skewer. Cupid thought it was a toy and was attached to it. In the end we plant apples, grapes and vegetables, but he doesn't care. Good product! I feel it serves its purpose and is easy to clean!

Pros
  • Doping πŸ”₯
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

My birds love playing with their food!

I have two lovebirds who love to play with their food so I'm always looking for ways to make them fun foraging and occupied. These skewers are perfect for serving large portions. I'm hanging from the top of the cage and they're hanging from the ceiling of the cage, reaching for food. All of this is also good exercise and keeps them busy. They love it.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • need an outlet

Useful, also suitable for rodents

If you know anything about birds, you know that they hate everything new. It is best to leave it in a cage. When my bird got old enough to eat veggies, that was awesome! After a few hours he started chewing on them and they work so well! I don't know if it's just my little guy but he likes to slide over him and move around in his cage. This also works for my guinea pig and rabbit. They're quite shy, so they're happy to come and have a snack.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some disadvantages
