Start with digital control. If the power supply is interrupted for a short time, the device will turn off and not turn on again if it has such digital control. I had the same issue with the timeout - I should have figured it out myself I think. As others have said, my unit smelled very strange the first day or two of use. I set it up in the bathroom with the exhaust fan running for about 16 hours while the thing was on high wattage. and it still smelled a little funny for the first hour every day for a few days. The device is well packed with an outer box to protect the contents. The first box had all the hardware and screws, but the bag of screws was open and the screws were at the bottom of the box. The wheels are a bit flimsy but support the device. The wheels snap and require some force to "click" into place. Black color, let the device warm up during the day to burn out the new smell.
