Very soft metal, wrong size (e.g. 1/2" won't fit in a hole that fits a 1/2" drill shank) and part of the tip is already there worn.

I only recently discovered how useful a transfer punch can be when I used it on a friend of mine. I ordered them straight away and was not disappointed.

If you're a handyman or some type of fabricator doing this 40 hours a week look elsewhere, but for do-it-yourselfers this will work just fine. The steel is pretty soft so I don't think you'll be keeping the tips on it for very long.

This product was delivered early which was nice. As expected (based on the price), it's made in China. The only drawback I see is that the diameters of the individual transfer stamps are not listed on the stamps. The dimensions of the transfer stamp are marked (not very clearly) on the plastic case.

These items are NOT HARDENED. Flattened on first use. I very carefully transferred six holes in very soft hot rolled steel and at the end of the six holes the tip was completely flat. flat after one use. I'm very gentle with my carry punches. I use very light tapping and always use a brass hammer whenever I move. These transfers are nonsense. Unless you only work with aluminum, don't buy them. I didn't expect anything special but the stamps were in a holder and then in a box with no other packaging so as not to hang around. The box was destroyed at the top with many small holes and one of the stamps was clearly bent. The size isn't quite as accurate, ranging from exactly the same as listed to a few thousand fewer than the various strokes (typically, you generally want them to be 1 thousand fewer). So if you need that kind of accuracy, this isn't for you. But they're cheap and great…
