Excellent replacement part/heater

Had no problems installing the part, works great. This is the second time we have replaced the heater in 2 years. Not sure why the first one failed after only 2 years of use.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Pretty good, especially when the price goes down

We have a couple of chicken coops that we inherited so we need to replace these from time to time. This is a very good deal. They work well and seem to be holding up so far.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Exact replacement of the removed heating element

The old block of the heating element burned out and melted the plastic housing. The only thing I don't like is the plastic case, but I had to settle for this device to find a seat on the automatic backup generator.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Works Great: Engines and Engine Parts

Hooked this up to my backup generator about a month ago and so far so good. I argued between 1000 and 1500 watts, decided on a 1500 watt device. When replacing I found that my existing heater was 1000 watts, but with a thermostat that doesn't really matter as it just heats up faster.

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • New Competitors

So far so good, I'd like a slightly smaller diameter

Installed a JD 2750 tractor to replace an old (different brand) one that stopped working. The diameter of this item is slightly larger than the old one, so I had to place it outside the frame and make a new mount. Let's see how it behaves when it gets very cold this winter (-20Β°F), but in 20 degree weather the unit heats up enough to easily start a diesel engine.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Disappears

Keeps the engine warm Heaters and accessories

These are found on many of our running 15-20kW generators. They regulate their temperature well. As far as I know, out of 10 systems in operation, we only have 1 failure in 3 years (element burnout). When the engine overheated, this node proved to be the weakest link. Because this unit is installed at the lowest point in the cooling system, it means that the coolant is sprayed all over the floor. This unit has an output of 1500W (maximum available from one outlet) and will keep the engine warm…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Poorly designed
