That does not work! fits boxes, hutches and pens

One star because item arrived. Was in a box until we built our 1800 lb cedar doghouse. I got it in the spring, so I didn't install it until this summer. Tomorrow it's 29 degrees, switched on and nothing! I am angry. Expensive enough thought it would work twice. But no! I don't know who to contact next, it seems you have a monopoly. Buyers, think twice.

Better than a heated dog bed!

Last year I bought a heated dog bed for the winter. It failed after just a few months. I've only had it a few months but am already happy with it as a dog bed. Instead of just heating under my dog, it heats the entire kennel, meaning a happier pet. I put a thermometer in the kennel and on average it is 20-25 degrees warmer inside the kennel than outside. To be effective you need to attach your kennel. I added some plastic/rubber strips (overlapping) for the dog door. There's fanless heating…

Works great, cheap to run, holds 50 degrees in a kennel at 12 degrees.

Very easy to install, drill a hole, insert a cable, throw a hole, twist. The kennel is 4 feet wide and 6 feet long and is made of T1 plywood siding and 3/4 inch thermal plywood inside. hinged insulating door with plastic hinged covers on both sides. I set it to a medium range, around 50 degrees. I made one modification to this, I routed the electrical wires in the ridge line leading to the electrical box, then I used the ELB to go in the back of the heater and caulk the hole in the dog kennel…

Heats Tiny House for Feral/Stray Cats Amazing

We bought it in 2016, so it's already our fourth winter. We take care of several feral and stray cats. It was originally in a plastic box with reflective thin insulation, the first 3 winters for 2 cats and it was fine. We recently built a 'tiny house' out of an open plan trailer and were concerned it wouldn't heat well enough. OMG this is amazing! Insulate and control drafts for your pets and this thing rocks! The tiny house inside is 3 1/2 feet wide, 7 feet long and 33 inches high. Lined with…

After a year of use: This is an amazing heater!

Last September our neighbors left, but the stray street cat they fed and who has become something of a permanent neighbor stayed home. We decided to build her an insulated outdoor house. The house is about 1 cubic meter and we have plugged in an outlet, light and this heater. It was very easy to install (we plugged it in directly, not with the connector that came with it). The heater is quite quiet and doesn't bother the cat at all. More importantly, it kept them nice and warm all winter long…

This dog warmer is perfect for my application

This dog warmer is perfect for my application. When installed in my converted dog house (Suncast BMS4900D Glidetop Slide Lid Shed) it keeps the inside temp about 11-16 degrees warmer than the outside temp on the LOW setting. I haven't tested it on medium or high settings yet, mainly because it hasn't gotten very cold yet. For example, last night it was 42 degrees outside (California weather), my wireless temp sensor that I installed in the kennel away from the heater showed a hot 58 degrees. It

Great heater with a big flaw

My kennel first. I built a 32" x 47" x 30" house that has 1 1/2" thick foam insulation on the sides, roof and floor. I have a clear plastic dog flap. I have a heater that's hooked up to a Belkin Wemo so it's controlled from my iPhone, and I have a kennel grill temperature transmitter with a receiver in front of my webcam in my house so I can monitor it remotely when I'm not around . the heat shield they have inside, the bottom corner panel doesn't get really hot, the face of the heater, which…

Very well done, I recommend!

I bought this item to keep my dog warm during the winter months. Being located in the mid-Atlantic region, they are characterized by snow and cold weather. When I received the product, I noticed its solid construction. It may seem expensive, but it's well made. I opened the box, put it on the counter and pocketed it. I made sure the thermostat was off and turned it on. I heard the thermostat click and the unit turned on and began to heat up quickly. Few minutes of that new oily smell as it…
