The fan consists of many different components, but is relatively easy to assemble by one person, especially with elements such as hooks on the ceiling plate. I would give this 4 stars but the fan is actually good and Hunter replied to me the same day to help me troubleshoot. That's why I'm giving them 5, even though we had a flickering issue that was driving us nuts. It's not like the light flickers and goes out, on and off. The most important thing to know is that YOU MUST PERFORM A FULL INSTALLATION FOR THE FAN TO WORK! I'm from the old school.
