I read the reviews on here before I bought mine. I got that. This slot is specifically for the plastic oil filter cap, which is tightened to 25 lb-ft (not much). It works exactly for that! If you only need a 36mm jack for general use then that's a downside. Make no mistake, this is a cheap head, but it works on my 1998 BMW 323i oil filter cap when torqued to spec (and I don't use it for anything else). I've used it 3 times now.

Revain needed to know my car make/model to install. It seems the manufacturer advised Revane wrong as I have a 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman. This product installation was too large. I had to run to the local auto parts store to get a ratchet head. I'm glad I didn't drain the oil beforehand or I would get stuck. Make sure it fits. Measure and follow Veh Mfg specifications. Don't believe what the Revain ad says. It was a mistake on the part of mfg, but not allowed.

Perfect for my Audi A7 3.0T engine. I think it's perfect for the price and home use. Previous oil changes have been done at my Audi dealer, so you may need a disconnect clutch and adapter (1/2" female to 3/8" male) to remove them, especially when the engine is warm. The torque specification is 25nM, so little force is required to turn. It would be even better if the seller included a good socket adapter in the price of the kit - just a thought! I will keep this seller on my radar for future…
