Excellent Filament for Industrial 3D Printing

This filament is a great choice for industrial and scientific 3D printing projects. It produces consistent and high-quality prints, with good detail resolution and durability. The gray color also makes it versatile for various applications. The only downside is that it is priced a bit higher than other 3D printing filaments, but the quality is definitely worth it.

Pros
  • IC3D Grey 1 Additive Manufacturing Products produce high-quality prints with amazing detail and consistency.
Cons
  • Weak set

HOT and SLOW for PLA but looks good

PLA is a bit awkward to use. I was able to get it up and running reliably after about 6 hours of setup. I ended up with a nozzle temp of 230°C (very high, possibly a hardware issue with my prusa i3 mk3), bed temp of 60°C, retraction of 3mm at 60mm/s, first layer speed of 10mm/s, Outer circumference 30 mm/s and filling 45 mm/s. Speed. SLOW and HOT for PLA. The good news is that it has a good finish and the red color looks great. I've bought QTY5, 2kg spools in various colors from IC3D PLA and…

Quality product at a great price

I was looking for a good quality PLA at a good price that wouldn't break the bank for prototyping. So I grabbed a roll of this as it was pretty cheap. IC3D far exceeded my expectations with their PLA. Delivered in a beautiful box sealed with a silica gel pouch. But what I loved about the packaging is that there is a wetness indicator strip on the roll. This is the first filament supplier I've bought it from and when I see it I think IC3D is raising the bar. Moisture can destroy some filaments…
