Cable required for an RCA to 2.

Just what I need to connect a powered subwoofer to my new head unit. My previous JVC radio had traditional RCA (red/white) subwoofer connectors. My new device had a single RCA cable. After googling I found this cable was what I needed to connect a powered subwoofer. Yes, only one ticket! One entrance, two exits. Works as it should!

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Neither my TV nor my receiver have enough cinch.

Neither my TV nor my receiver have enough cinch inputs or outputs. All the inputs and outputs are so close together that these are the only splitters that will allow you to connect these outputs to get sound from additional stereo equipment. I have several other types of splitters, but there isn't enough room behind my receivers or TV to fit them without blocking or interfering with other I/Os. This is exactly what I was looking for and intend to purchase more if needed.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Exchange possible

Single channel subwoofer output for two amplifier inputs

Saved me from busting my ass! The new main unit only has one, not two, RCA outputs from my additional amplifier. I have tried several other plugs just like this one. I only found out because they all look the same. they are not of the same quality. The first connector had a very low output, the second connector was just crap. I am happy to report that this has solved my problems. Sound output is perfect. No meter tells me, only my ears.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • For old

Can't get two stereo outputs

Decently made but poorly designed. The device is used to separate the stereo signal. The problem is that the master connector goes to the output and then branches off to RL. Obviously the signal from an output is either right or left, so you'd need to cross-connect extension leads to get a stereo signal. No instructions. My stereophile test showed this on the position track, with the same tones coming out of the left and right speakers.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Weak

Pure audio separation signal, baby! Video probably too.

These cables work great. Good clean signal. I use one of these to split the audio from my original Nintendo to stream to my TV in stereo (not true stereo, but at least the loops and horns can come out either side of my stereo). I have an idea what I want to do with my other splitter, but to be honest I'm pretty sure nobody cares. If you are interested, please feel free to ask any questions. I want to explain! Go on! To attempt!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • too blunt

Lacks full documentation but seems to work.

I assume the plug on each part sends the same beep to each of the sockets. So if either wire is plugged into the red (right) source, both jacks will carry that signal. So one of the two should be coded completely red and the other completely white. But actually both cables have a red and a white socket. The documentation should state exactly what the "pinout" is for these items. This color coding has consequences. If one adapter is connected to the right (red) RCA source and the other to the…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic
