Great knife set!

I've always had cheap knives that I sharpened every month. I bought these knives as a first step to improve my kitchen skills. I was more than happy with the sharpness and ability to stay sharp. Next stop: Hell's Kitchen!

Well designed with good handle weight.

WEIGHT I don't like the weight of the handles on these knives. This gives you a good feeling of control over the grip. HANDLE The way the handle connects to the blade is convenient for the cook to hold the knife BETWEEN the handle and the blade. The blade is designed to be clipped away from your finger, allowing you to comfortably hold the knife while cutting. CHOICE The selection of knives in this set offers the chef a choice of different knives for every cutting task.

Very nice chef knife set

My college roommate, who is largely responsible for both my love of cooking and my skill at it, was a cooking student who later (many years later) became the owner of a Michelin Star Awarded Restaurants. . I also worked as a cutlery for several years. Therefore, I am very familiar with knives, their manufacture and use. With that in mind, I have to say that this is a very good set. It's not as ergonomic and balanced as the Shun, which appears to be a fake, but the materials are about the same…

Fine damask pattern

Firstly I think whether you like these knives or not depends on why you want damask knives; Beauty or functionality? If you like the distinctive textured design of damascus blades, you'll likely be disappointed with this set. If you're looking for knives made from Damascus steel because you've heard that knives made using this process are stronger and stay sharper longer (which, to my surprise, has mostly been true so far), then you probably want this set a lot. These knives have the…

Very nice and functional set. The grip holds very well, although I would have liked a little more friction and not smoothness, but the design and balance are still very good and it feels perfectly balanced in the hand. The design and functionality are pretty good. I wish he had a bread knife, but Santoku can cut bread very easily, so it's not a big deal. To be honest the weight and layers of steel on the knives don't look like real damascus. I'm not sure if there are different ways to make a…

Nice starter knife set

First of all I have to say 5 stars for the look! Everything from opening the box to wrapping the knives and accompanying literature looks amazing! If you give this set as a gift, you can be sure that the recipient will be delighted with the look. The rest of my review is based on the fact that this is a $130 set of 5 knives. It's easy to spend over $100 on a good chef's knife, and often much more. So I judge the quality by the price. First there are the G10 handles, which is actually quite…

These are beautiful, well-made knives that are a pleasure to use.

Hello. I bought this "Damascus Knife Set" a few weeks ago and use each of the knives in my kitchen at home for everyday cooking. Without giving too much away, I can say that each of these knives was a pleasure to use from the start. Below are my thoughts and impressions of this experience. I hope you find them useful. First impressions plus a little background. *These knives come in a visually stunning, tasteful presentation box that speaks well to the company's efforts to communicate its…
