Great cleaver

Great cleaver but no sharp edges. The grinding angle appears small. A thick and heavy blade is not suitable for accurate cutting.

Strong Sturdy for kitchen and dining room

Bought this for my husband. The blade is well sharpened and is a very strong piece. I prefer small knives and this one is a bit heavy for me. But my husband loves it.

No form at all. Like a butter knife

There must be a way to sharpen. I tried it on a chicken for the first time tonight. It was like using a butter knife. Luckily I bought two knives that day. My knife cut outside the stitches caused no problems. I am very disappointed in this knife.

Returned due to manufacturing defects

The wooden handle was too small for the stock leaving a sharp stock metal at the top and bottom. The front rivet protruded from both sides of the handle. This left almost razor sharp edges on either side of the handle that could have cut the hand in use.

Not sharp at all.: Cutlery & Knife Accessories

This thing was as sharp as the back of a bread knife. Either they're all that boring, or I got one from a guy on his first day on the job. I couldn't cut anything without electricity. The weight and design are great and the grip is comfortable. I spent some time sharpening it and now it's a great knife.

Great knife on chef's knife

Love this knife and the handy sheath that comes with it. It's not a light knife, it has some weight and feels pretty good in my hand. I've used it on a variety of meats, veggies, and cheeses and so far it's cutting pretty well and nicely. I have also received many compliments on the knife. Completely happy with it!

It's very dull and even after 2 hours of sharpening it doesn't have a decent sharpness

I really wanted to like this knife. It appears to be very well made. However, it turned out to be blunt, like a butter knife. I wasn't expecting it to be very sharp, but not that blunt. I use a very expensive electric sharpener which I've been using for a few months now and after 2 hours I couldn't get a decent sharpening. I am very disappointed and will be sending it back. What a waste of my time and money.
