As soon as I received the fish, I charged it up which was very easy when I unzipped the belly. I put the packet of catnip inside the belly. It will stay on for 10 seconds and then it will automatically shut off until it is touched again. My cat was scared to death of it, but my friend’s cat is in the video and absolutely loved it. He couldn’t get enough of it. Definitely worth the $8 I spent on it.

My 5mo kitten loves to play with my leg because he likes that I fight back, so my sister got him this toy that will move as he chews it. This is a great little toy for a passive player. Our crazy animals went after the catnip whole heartedly and tore through the zipper in a couple of hours of opening. They also found the joint where the tail flips and cracked it. I dont know if the toy is weak or my babies are psychopaths. Either way it brought them a lot of joy for a bit and I would probably buy it again.

Half my cats love trying to kill it, half of them only want to rub their faces on it for the catnip smell and seem to just get irritated when it starts flipping. Either way, it's definitely fun for me. Worked right out of the box, and after a few days I still haven't had to charge it myself. It was a Christmas gift for my cats and all three of them loved it. They played and played with the fish until my beagle-dog decided that she liked it too. She was able to destroy it by chewing on the fish's tail. I am going to purchase another fish because even my older cats, 12 and 14 years old who normally sleep throughout the day, got exited and played.My advice: Get it for your cat(s) it will be one of the best gifts you can get them!

Worked right out of the box.Came with a sealed pouch of catnip. So glad that it is rechargeable via the USB cord it came with. Cats were entrigued right away. Their hunting instincts kicked in. But after a few times playing with it, they lost interest. Over the next few days they played with it a little bit. The sound it makes is a little annoying in the middle of the night, lol. But it's a cool cat toy and love the realistic fish look to it. I do not think it is worth $15.

Very cute concept and product, but neither the cat or the dog were interested in it so I returned it. As for the durability.I can’t speak to that since I did not have the product long at all. It seemed to be well made and the movement worked well. My cat is very strange in that she would rather play with a bag, box or string than anything.

Our kitty loves this toy; he plays with it.lays by it.guards it. It is a hit. Love that it is re-chargeable. But, we originally got a two-pack. The mechanism that makes it flop broke in a relatively short period of time; a month or so? We ordered a replacement.it would not charge. The seller happily sent a return label and sent us a new one. Kitty is happy again.but not sure how long this will last.

I got this toy for my two senior cats, one 12 year old and the other 8 year old. I was really surprised how much they liked this toy. They do not like the movement, but when its turned off, they liked to roll on it and move it around. I have a feeling that its because it has catnip inside and the smell is what is making them interested.anyway, its a big toy and is made nicely with tough material so it does not get ruined easily. We have 2 cats. THe youngest is 1 year old and the oldest is 15. The baby absolutely loved this toy. He is full of energy and is always sprinting aroung the house and annoying is older brother. At first I purchased two fishes , one for my inside cats and one for my outside cats. Both groups love them. The outsiders takes the fish to a neighbor’s yard and I have to fetch it. So, I purchased one for my grand-cat and she watched the fish flopping and when it stopped,she struts away. I am satisfied with these purchases. It’s durable enough for outside cats play with, the activation surprise is funny and the price for this joy is very reasonable.

My cats don't love catnip but whatever Silver Vine is - they love that! They walk over to the fish, touch it and watch it flop at their feet. Yesterday one of the cats fell asleep using the fish as a pillow.

The toy really does look like and flops around like a fish. My children couldn’t leave it along long enough for it to charge initially.The cats are still a little skeptical of the toy because their other toys don’t move by themselves. Both of them try to "kill” it when it is not moving and walk away from it once it starts moving. Great toy which keeps my 3 cats entertained for about 30 mins until they get bored.I hide the toy for a few days, then let them play, as if it was the first time they see it.The toy is soft!

The mechanics of it I think scared the cats more than interested them. I think once they got over the noise level of it they play with it but maybe not as much as I hoped for.

This toy keeps my cats attention for hours! It is the cutest thing to see her rolling around with it while growling and kicking. She always has to have it in whatever room she is in.I totally recommend it! Great toy, great quality, and an even better price!

The fish flops around and works as expected. The sound of the tail moving is a little louder than I expected it to be, and my cat was put off by it at first but its been slowly growing on him.
