Poor memory card reader

Bought to upgrade from USB2 so I can download photos to computer faster, card reader/writer doesn't work on USB3 ports, gets very hot, won't connect, only connects to USB2 ports , but then works very slowly, just ordered a sandisk reader to try, hope it works, lost the client's I/O!

Pros
  • Niche best
Cons
  • Band

Transfers video quickly. From a USB hub.

I am very satisfied with this card reader. I have other old 2.0 IOGEAR readers that still work great; this one is just faster. Highly recommended. I use iMac and Macbok Pro.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I will add later

Works well, smallest 3

Works well, smallest 3.0 reader I've found so far. My memory card isn't fast enough to take full advantage of USB 3.0 speeds, but I still get 20% speedup (real file transfer test). 95 degrees+ is fine for me because I'm transferring a maximum of 10GB at a time, but if you're going to be using non-stop all the time, you might want a larger version with more surface area to better dissipate heat.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Weight

The best reading on the go app I've ever come across.

I prefer to carry SD cards with me, not flash drives, and I was looking for a good portable reader to use on public computers without SD slot. . For this purpose I am very happy with it. Benefits: KEYCHAIN. It's small and you need a ring with a small circumference to fit in, but it's there. USB tip connector Nice and compact; this is the size of a small flash drive. Micro and full-size USB 3 SD card slots Cons: Can't lose lid No protection for card slots.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some bugs

Compatible with Raspberry Pi

I ordered this to use the SD card copy utility that comes with Debian OS for Raspberry Pi Model 3 B. Works like a charm and allowed me to create an extra SD card for backups which is very handy. The price is right too.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • No performance

Works perfectly. to computers and accessories

Seems to work great although it's a bit larger than some readers. The extra size is partly justified by the fact that it accepts several different SD sizes. I don't like the separate lid which is easy to lose and will probably lose it at some point. I've only used it a few times but so far so good.

Pros
  • A dream comes true
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Fast and easy to use.

This is an improvement over the previous USB 2.0 model that we have been using for several years. With this model we can quickly transfer photos from our smartphones or tablets and our digital cameras. It's fast and accurate. Our camera manual states that the fastest data transfer is via the cards, not the USB cable. We haven't tested the speed, but we do know it's even faster than the USB 2.0 model we used (which is now in the front pocket of the camera bag). Now everyone has one on their…

  • This is amazing
