This drill bit is a great time saver if you have a reasonably powerful drill bit. I have a Milwaukee Used angle drill bit with a 1/2" chuck to drill two stacked 2x10 drill bits. I even hit a nail, it went right through without damaging the racquet. It may not be safe for us due to the high torque requirement when we stand on the stairs.Not suitable for cordless hand drills.

I have used this bit to drill deep holes in pressure treated wood. It worked very well. The cutting action is aggressive but still leaves a relatively clean hole. I used both a drill and a hand rest to drill the holes. When using a drill press, I found that removing the center screw from the drill slightly reduced aggressiveness and made the cut more precise/smooth.
