This is a high quality screwdriver. It has a good grip and fits my hand well. The tip feels solid and the whole tool looks well made. Square head screws aren't found on many things around the house, but if you need a square head, you probably won't find it in your "home repair kit," so it's best to just have it handy. This is a quality screwdriver and I recommend keeping it in your tool box.

In addition to the comfortable grip and quality of the tool, I would like to thank Irwin for painting the square on top of the handle. My eyes aren't what they used to be, and my basement tool room can be dark, so I appreciate being able to see the type of tool at a glance as I swipe across my shelf of screwdrivers. It's a good tool to have on hand and I love it as I collect lots of items that I buy and bring home.

Irwin has become my husband's favorite tool brand. He now owns many of them and is more than satisfied with all of them. As with the recently bought Irwin screwdrivers, the end of the handle of this square head screwdriver is stamped with a square so you know exactly what the tool is without having to pick it up and check the tip, which is very convenient and saves time. The grip is very comfortable and he says less hand fatigue. Well thought out, precise product.

Until I started working with wood I had no idea you needed a square head screwdriver. But the screws used with the pocket screw jig often require a square tip, so that's handy. I love that the tip type is listed at the end of the handle so I can tell which ones I need without looking at the tip. The handle is comfortable to hold, it has a pleasant texture. Since the handle is round I was worried it would roll off the workbench, but the acetate piece has beveled edges that should stop rolling…

Basically I took this screwdriver and no others mainly to test the grip. I have both a standard Craftsman and a few Craftsman Pros in my toolbox, as well as a few cheap models from Harbor Freight. In comparison, traditional craft tools have hard resin handles that are molded for better grip. The Craftsman Pro grip has a more heavily rubberized grip, but still features a plus shape design to provide deep grip lugs.
