I bought several of these to replace my old (RGB) CAT5 component system. Since my new TVs switched to HDMI, my old system no longer supported the best picture standard (and some TVs don't even have RGB inputs). Replacing the old RGB over CAT5 modules was easy and the new system works well. So far I'm only streaming 1080P content with great picture quality.
