They were easy to install. However, when I stumbled over the bomb, both of them popped out even though they were locked, and my hood came off. I stopped, unlocked them and snapped them back, but as soon as I got back onto another bumpy road they popped out. I am currently looking for new locks as they didn't get the job done.

Can't believe these or similar aren't standard on jeeps. I've owned two jeeps and neither of them had a hood latch. This eliminated the "Jeep hood flapping", the hood bouncing up and down the road while driving.
