Terrible picture, wrong color, LEDs too bright resulting in color distortion. Constantly "flickering" LEDs. Waste of money, you can buy analog for half price.

The first unit was DOA but the seller replaced it with a second unit that worked fine on Windows 10. Windows automatically installed the drivers and within a minute I was able to use the camera app to view the USB. Very happy with the price of this microscope.

Great device for the price. There are a few things that could be improved like the zoom controls and a few bugs in the software, but overall the product is excellent (4 stars). Customer service is excellent (5 stars), very responsive and knowledgeable about the product.

Great microscope and stand for easy focusing. I turned the stand sideways to focus horizontally on the platter "needles" which were face up. I can inspect the tips and can actually see the chiseled edges of the different diamond cuts. It doesn't reach microbial scales, but for pen tips smaller than 1 mil (less than 25 microns), it works great and is very cheap!

Dollar for dollar it's a pretty good buy but could use some improvement. The included kickstand is much better than many competing brands, but the rack and pinion are free to move when not engaged. A little friction could greatly improve this item. The way it is built, no height adjustment knobs are required. If the microscope is not attached, it will simply fall to its lowest position. Keep your fingers on the height adjuster while loosening the locking screw.

Software issues but once fixed it's a fine well made device. The software that came with the device didn't work properly for me on Win 10 64 bit. by going to the company's website and downloading the camera software. It worked right away and I could discover the joy of using this camera for its intended purpose. This device is very well made from aluminum and is of high quality, especially in this price range. I got this for my daughter and was trying to set it up for her birthday and what a disappointment, the drivers are so old they don't work with any platform. I installed a Chromebook on it and changed all the settings, but the programs didn't recognize the camera even though it showed up in the settings. This is the second "digital microscope" I've ordered from Revain. The first seller claimed it was a 2-megapixel camera, but it was actually a 0.3-megapixel camera.
