Better OEM! for outdoor accessories

Very easy to assemble and doesn't have a "safety hook" that gets stuck like the old design. That's probably why you're looking for this article. It bolts on and you don't even have to use a jack on my Tahoe 07 to install it. The easiest part I changed on this thing. FYI, it may seem like the mechanism can't pull the tire far enough before it reaches the spot on the cable that says "STOP", but it works fine.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Vulgarity

BEST BUY EVER πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ’―

OMG my SUV loves this item. Bought for my 2005 Yukon Xl Denali. My spare tire goes off easily and I don't have to worry about a stupid secondary lock preventing it from going down. BEST BUY EVER πŸ’― MUST BUY πŸ’― I WILL ORDER ANOTHER FOR MY SISTER 2003 Chevy Tahoe πŸ‘πŸΌ If you're like me and like to keep things simple. Get one and if you love someone with a similar SUV. Christmas is around the corner. take her too

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

This fits my 2004 Chevy Avalanche

I've had the luxury of getting a flat tire and seeing my spare tire just dangling there while a broken spare tire winch wouldn't lower or raise the spare tire. I bought this product a few weeks after the spare tire was in the back of the truck. It was easy to assemble and fit perfectly. I was able to lift the spare tire back under the truck bed. I've had no reason to lower the spare tire since I installed it, but I'm sure it will work. I think we'll see what happens when the time comes.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • So so

PIECE OF SHIT - Spare Tire Mounts

I bought TWO of these spare tire lifts and the whole lift is permanently stuck! I need a backup to travel abroad for emergencies and he's getting in my way! When I bought my first lift I thought maybe I had gone over the line when raising the hoop and thought maybe the problem was that it was getting stuck and not coming back up. I bought a second one and someone was watching me lift it and before I could lift it even halfway it jammed. I was very upset that I don't have nearly $100 now. Not…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Working Speed

Super quick and easy to install. If in doubt, dare to do it

So I have a GMC Yucon with standard tires and no lift kit. I easily get under my back without using ramps or jacks. There is a screw holding it. Be careful of your eyes when removing the old ones as dust, sand and rust can get into them. With the old one removed, you simply insert the tongue into the frame and screw it on. It probably took about 5 minutes. Loading a spare tire takes longer than installing a lift. It has springs to keep the tire safe. Someone cut the old one's cable and stole…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
